What We Want:
As the Property Accountant, you possess 5 years progressive commercial property accounting experience. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. Corrigo, Yardi, MRI, or other property management software is highly preferred. You are a strong problem solver who is highly organized and detail oriented. Most importantly, you understand the commercial property industry and are a team player with a positive attitude!
What You’ll Do:
As the Property Accountant, you have full-cycle accounting knowledge within a commercial property management environment. You will prepare all bank/account reconciliations, process all accounts payable, and post payments on accounts. As the Property Accountant, you will assist in billing tenants, distributing of invoices, and timely collections. You will also prepare financial statements, cash flow statements, journal entries, 1099’s, and year-end tax packages.
